Perry Smith

Perry Smith is a Senior Project Manager who leads application development teams to achieve optimized delivery of program and project objectives. As a collaborative team manager Perry works closely with key clients and stakeholders, as well as product owners to ensure efficient delivery of Fleet Cost & Care’s (FCC) software solutions.

With over 35 years’ experience developing IT solutions and serving as a Senior Program/Project Manager and most recently a Contract Consultant for software implementations, Perry understands that to deliver intricate technical solutions across multiple development disciplines organization, communication, and consistency is key. He knows that focusing on process-driven application development and leveraging industry tools are the foundation to every project. Producing and delivering high-quality, reliable solutions is the only option.

Prior to FCC, Perry successfully led several application development teams for multi-national corporations. At General Motors he managed application development for several enterprise applications including the SAP S4 Hana Global Ledger, Enterprise Data Warehouse Business Analytics and Reporting, Vehicle Planning and Development including the Engineers Log Book, and the OnStar application. While working 18 years for the Compuware Corporation Perry performed both as a Project Manager and Technical Lead supporting several contract clients including Ford Motor Company where he led projects for several systems, standardize processes, and performed as an application supervisor for the MOMs application supporting warehouse logistics management and Service Parts Operations.

Perry is PMP certified since 2004 and holds bachelors’ degree in Business Administration/Business Management from Northwood University.
