Gaurav Rajora

Gaurav Rajora is the Director of Insurance for FLEET, responsible for driving risk management, compliance, and multi-line insurance portfolios. In his role, he oversees corporate, commercial, and operational risk management, drives insurance business strategy, and manages client relations. He leads a team responsible for managing underwriting portfolio risks for shipowners and ship managers.

Gaurav has 30 years' experience in the shipping industry. He is a Master Mariner, with his seagoing career spent on tankers (product/chemical), VLCC, and LPG vessels. He has extensive experience in dry-dockings and shipbuilding, including seven years’ service in senior management positions as Chief Officer and Master. He joined FLEET as a Master Mariner in 2006 and the global headquarters in Hong Kong as a Superintendent in the Insurance department in 2007.

Gaurav holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Laws in English and Hong Kong Law with first-class honours. He has experience in insurance, corporate, litigation, regulatory and criminal law.
