Viraf Chichgar

Viraf Chichgar currently serves as the Head of Training at the Fleet Management Training Institute since April 2018 and has held the role of Deputy General Manager and Head of Fleet Management Training at Fleet Management Limited since February 2012. Prior positions include Senior Manager - Head of Nautical Training and Nautical Faculty at The Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies from 2011 to 2012, and Master Mariner at Bergesen DY ASA from 1993 to 2011. Viraf Chichgar attained a Master Mariner degree from Lal Bahadur Shastri Nautical College in 2004 and completed a Higher Secondary Certificate with a focus on Mathematics and Science at St. Xavier's College from 1991 to 1993, as well as an SSC diploma from St. Mary's High School, Mumbai, from 1981 to 1991.
