Matteo Genna

Matteo Genna has a strong background in the aerospace industry, with significant experience in various leadership roles. Matteo is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Fleet Space Technologies since May 2023. Prior to this, Matteo held the position of President, Remote Sensing Business Unit at World View Enterprises from August 2021 to May 2023. Matteo also served as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing & CTO at World View Enterprises from July 2018 to August 2021.

Before joining World View Enterprises, Matteo worked at SSL (Space Systems Loral) for a long period of time. Matteo held several positions at SSL, including Chief Technology Officer & Vice President, Product Strategy and Development from February 2016 to July 2018. Matteo also served as the Vice President, Product Strategy & Development from November 2014 to July 2018. Matteo's previous roles at SSL include Vice President, Mission Assurance & Chief Engineer from May 2013 to November 2014, Chief Engineer from June 2012 to May 2013, Director, Spacecraft Engineering from June 2009 to June 2012, Manager, Program Systems Development from January 2005 to May 2009, and Sr. Engineering Specialist from June 1996 to December 2004.

Matteo Genna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from UC San Diego. Matteo also pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley. However, no specific start or end years were provided for either of these educational experiences.
