Stephen Birchfield

Stephen Birchfield has over 35 years of experience in the transportation industry. Stephen began their career in 1984 as the Operations Manager/Owner at Fulton Trucking, Inc. Stephen then moved to Scott Logistics in 2006, where they were the Corporate Safety Manager. In 2008, Stephen became the Operations Manager at Apex Carriers Inc, a start-up trucking company that grew from 7 to 88 trucks in the first year. After that, they were the Terminal Manager at Slason Logistics from 2009 to 2014. Stephen then became the Regional Transportation Manager at Fleetmaster Express in 2014, followed by Director of Brokerage and Director of Truckload Operations at Fleetmaster Express Inc from 2015 to 2017. Finally, Stephen has been the Operations Manager and Local Operations Manager at Paper Transport (Dedicated, OTR, Intermodal, Brokerage) since 2017.

Stephen Birchfield obtained a Batchelors in Philosophy from The University of West Alabama between 1977 and 1981. Stephen also attended Oxford, though no additional information is provided.
