Michael Bessette

Michael Bessette is an experienced operations and production manager with a career spanning over three decades in the food manufacturing and distribution industry. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Fleischmann's Vinegar Company since March 2014, Michael previously held the position of Director of Operations at Bruegger's Bagels from July 1994 to November 2013, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution facilities. Earlier in the career, Michael worked as Superintendent at Freihofer Baking Company, focusing on operational oversight and team development in a union environment. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Syracuse University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from the Junior College of Albany.
