Gerard (Jerry) Di Falco is a seasoned professional visual artist and printmaker with extensive experience in the art world spanning several decades. Since 1979, Gerard has exhibited artwork globally in over 450 solo and group exhibitions, with a focus on mono-printing and etching techniques. Currently serving as a Monitor and Mentor at The Center for Works on Paper at Fleisher Art Memorial, Gerard facilitates professional artists' engagement with printing presses in an Open Etching Studio. Previous roles include a Gallery Artist at The Leonardo DaVinci Art Alliance and Nexus Gallery, as well as serving as a Resident Artist at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and receiving individual artist grants from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and the Pennsylvania State Council on the Arts. Gerard's academic contributions include teaching an art seminar at Rutgers University and serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Drexel University. Gerard holds a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from Drexel University and a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Fine Art from Rutgers University.

Founded by industrialist Samuel S. Fleisher in 1898 as one of the nation’s first community-based art centers, Fleisher Art Memorial is renowned for its long-standing mission of making art accessible regardless of economic means, background, or artistic experience. In 2023, Fleisher will celebrate its 125th anniversary as the center continues to provide free and low-cost studio art classes along with opportunities for emerging and seasoned artists to exhibit their work. Extensive arts education and community-based programming also reflects the organization’s commitment to serving and strengthening communities in Philadelphia by developing, sharing, and promoting creative resources.
