Mussarat Ejaz M.D., Frcs

Mussarat Ejaz, MD, FRCS, serves as the Manager of Population Health and Wellness at Flemingdon Health Centre since August 2018 and has been a Community Health Worker there. Concurrently, Mussarat is a committed member of several committees with the City of Toronto, including the Member Nomination Committee for the Lived Experience Advisory Group, the Steering Committee for the Local Champions Pilot Program, and the Resident Advisory Committee for TSNS 2020. Additionally, Mussarat has been a Board Member for Flemingdon Community Support Services since 2014, focusing on community engagement and development. Previously, Mussarat coordinated a cancer screening project for the Canadian Cancer Society and held positions as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Al Qaseem University in Saudi Arabia and as a Consultant General Surgeon at Qatar Hospital. Educational credentials include an FRCS in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and an MBBS from Karachi University.
