Clay Douglas

Clay Douglas is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Wind Service APAC at Flender since February 2023. Prior to this role, Clay held the position of Sales Director for Asia Pacific at Sulzer Schmid Laboratories AG from October 2021 to February 2023. Clay's career at Vestas from 2008 to June 2021 included various leadership roles, such as Director of Service AUNZ and Head of Aftermarket in China, driving sales and operational performance in complex parts and service solutions. Additionally, Clay has experience in the automotive industry, having worked as a Project Engineer at General Motors and as a Research Engineer at Monash University. Educational credentials include a PhD in Engineering and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering (Honours) and Science with majors in Mathematics and Physiology, all from Monash University.
