Paula McCarthy

Paula McCarthy is an experienced professional in project and programme management, currently serving as the Head of SAP PMO at Fletcher Building since April 2024. Prior to this role, Paula held the position of Programme Director for Corporate Systems and Operational Technology at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) from January 2023 to June 2024. With a diverse background, Paula has also worked as a Project Delivery Manager at Vector Limited from July 2020 to December 2022, and held multiple roles at Watercare Services Limited, including Programme Delivery & Transition Lead and Product Owner from April 2019 to December 2020. Earlier in the career, Paula was a Senior Programme Manager and Programme Manager at Vodafone between May 2016 and January 2020, focusing on IT and digital simplification projects. Paula holds a Diploma in Project Management from the Institute of Project Management, obtained between January 2004 and January 2005.
