Margaret Lohse-Blanchard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mathematics and applied science. Currently serving as a Scientist at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport since September 2021, Margaret focuses on modeling, simulation, and analysis for undersea warfare. In addition, Margaret teaches mathematics and statistics at Southern New Hampshire University and Fletcher Technical Community College, roles held since December 2017 and August 2019, respectively, which include developing course materials and engaging with students. Prior experience includes a Master Candidate program in Applied Mathematics at California State University East Bay and a position as an Analytic Consultant at FICO, where Margaret managed comprehensive documentation redesign projects involving international teams. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from California State University East Bay, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Athens State University, and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Sierra College.
