Kate Gaskell

Kate Gaskell's work experience includes a role as Chief Operating Officer at Flex Legal starting in April 2023, and a previous role as Head of Client Services at Flex Legal from April 2022 to April 2023. Kate is currently an Advisory Board Member at qLegal starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at LexisNexis UK, where they held various positions such as Director of Transformation from January 2020 to April 2022, Director of Practice Area Strategy from September 2018 to January 2020, Interim Director of Print Strategy from February 2018 to September 2018, and Head of LexisPSL Banking & Finance and Financial Services from May 2011 to February 2018. Kate also worked as a Senior Associate in Project Finance at Norton Rose LLP from 2009 to 2011, as a Senior Associate in Banking & Finance at Freehills from 2005 to 2009, and as an Associate in Debt Capital Markets at Allen & Overy from 2003 to 2005.

Kate Gaskell's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford, indicated by their MA (Oxon) degree. Kate pursued further education at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained a Legal Practice Course (Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice). Prior to their university education, they completed A levels in English, History, French, and Law at Sir John Lawes School in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.

In addition to their formal education, Kate Gaskell has obtained several certifications. Kate attained a Level 3 Safeguarding Adults certification from High Speed Training in May 2023. In February 2022, they became a certified Menopause Mentor through Over The Bloody Moon. In May 2021, they completed the Fostering Inclusion & Diversity course offered by the Yale School of Management. Lastly, Kate Gaskell obtained their Solicitor qualification from the Solicitors Regulation Authority in March 2005.
