Friedrich Wetschnig

Friedrich Wetschnig is an experienced executive in the field of information security, currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Data Privacy Officer at Flex since January 2000. Wetschnig leads a team of engineers in driving security programs with a focus on challenging conventional practices. Additionally, Wetschnig has held roles such as Senior Director and Senior IT Security Manager at Flextronics, overseeing IT security on a global scale and managing the Security Operation Center. Wetschnig is also a Board Advisor at Oloid, advocating for passwordless security solutions through facial recognition, and serves on the advisory board of Cyberstarts. Wetschnig holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the College for Electrical Engineering, completed between 1990 and 1997.
