Barbara Newton

Barbara Newton has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Barbara is currently working as the VP of Platform Engineering at Flexera. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Principal Architect at the same company. In 2011, Barbara joined Newton Engineering as a Principal Engineer, where they developed a web application integrated with TD Ameritrade. Barbara also worked as a Principal Engineer at FICO, where they led a team to build the Application Fraud Manager. Barbara has also held positions such as Senior Technical Architect at Ioko, Ltd., Technical Architect at Fidex, Inc., and VP Software Engineering at RealAge, Inc. Barbara played a crucial role as a Master Software Designer at HP Software, leading the implementation of the DecisionCenter product. Barbara has also worked at Peregrine Systems, CalAmp, and Aerocast Inc.

Barbara Newton earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego, completing their studies between 1986 and 1988.
