Maria Eirini Mengou has a diverse work experience in the risk management and credit analysis field. Maria Eirini is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Flexfin S.A. since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Citi from 2015 to 2019, where their roles included serving as the Global SBB Risk Manager and Senior Vice President, as well as the Global Small Business Banking Risk Manager and Vice President. Before joining Citi, Maria worked at Kaican as a Senior Credit Analyst from 2014 to 2015. Maria Eirini also had a long tenure at Citi from 2006 to 2014, where they held various positions such as Forecasting and Stress Test Manager, Assistant Vice President, Credit Risk Manager, and Credit Risk Analyst. Maria started their career as an Analyst at Eurobank in 2005. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in risk monitoring, loss forecasting, portfolio performance tracking, and credit analysis.

Maria Eirini Mengou completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Operational Research and Economics at the University of Essex from 2000 to 2004. Maria Eirini then pursued a Master's Degree in International Securities Investment and Banking at the ICMA Centre from 2004 to 2005.
