Kevin Nowak

Kevin Nowak has a diverse work experience in the field of design and creative consulting. Kevin started their career at group [eX] : Buffington & Associates in 2000, where they served as an Art Director and Graphic Designer. During their time there, they were the primary client contact for NEXIQ Technologies and led various projects for PPG Automotive Refinishes, Hot Wheels, and the Discovery Channel Biker Build-off. In 2003, they founded Nowak Media and worked as a Freelance Designer and Consultant, designing custom blog sites for online entrepreneurs and producing music videos for a local alt-rock band. In 2011, they joined Flexible Plan Investments, Ltd. as a Creative Director, overseeing the design and improvement of all digital experiences and expanding the internal Marketing Department. In 2013, they became a UI/UX Design and Creative Consultant for Proactive Advisor Magazine, where they led the redesign of their website, resulting in increased ad revenue and organic traffic.

Kevin Nowak attended Eastern Michigan University from 1989 to 1993, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. Kevin also holds a certification in Leadership, Team-Building and Coaching Skills for Managers and Supervisors from Fred Pryor Seminars/CareerTrack, divisions of Pryor Learning Solutions.
