Jake Kobes

Jake Kobes started their work experience in 2009 at The Works Printing Group as a System Administrator. During their time there, they also worked as a Database Administrator, VBA/VB.NET Programmer, Helpdesk, and Tester. Jake then moved on to Transend Networks in 2011 as a Software Developer, where they worked on building and maintaining applications in .NET, including ASP.NET MVC3, SharePoint 2010, WinForms, Silverlight, PowerShell, and other modern frameworks. In 2014, they joined TasNetworks as a Software Developer and later became a Lead Developer. In 2021, Jake Kobes joined Flexischools as a Senior Software Engineer and is currently in the role of Lead Software Engineer.

Jake Kobes has a Bachelor's degree in Computing with a focus on Programming, Database Administration, and Website Development from the University of Tasmania, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they received a Certificate IV in Information Technology with a specialization in Website Design from TAFE SA in 2007. In 2005, they completed a Certificate III in Information Technology with a focus on Software Applications, also from TAFE SA. In 2004, they obtained a Certificate II in Information Technology from TAFE SA.
