Dan Sanghera has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Dan started their career at TD as a Reconciliation Officer in Customer Service from 1986 to 1988. Dan then moved to Scotiabank and worked in Customer Service from 1989 to 1992. Following that, Dan joined Household Finance as a Manager in the Bad Debt Recoveries Unit from 1992 to 2000. At Household Finance, they gained expertise in legal procedures and enforcement and managed a national network of lawyers and real estate brokers. Dan then joined TCS and held various positions, including Senior Manager Collection Operations & Vendor Management, National Director of Operations, and Director of Client Services. In these roles, Dan was responsible for managing key client relationships, vendor management, improving collection effectiveness, and developing control models. Dan later joined Home Trust Company and served as the Manager of Default Recovery Legal and Manager of Secured Collections from 2013 to 2016. Dan then became the Manager of Default Recovery Collections at Home Capital Group Inc (7HC) from 2017 to 2020, where they implemented strategies to reduce risk, improve operations, and maintain customer satisfaction. Before joining their current role as the Director of Collection Operations - Risk at Flexiti in 2021, Dan was a Senior Manager of Default Recovery at Home Trust Company from 2020 to 2021.

Dan Sanghera has a diverse education history. Dan first attended King Edward VI College from 1980 to 1982, earning an A level in Pure and Applied Mathematics. Dan then pursued a degree in Economics & Business Statistics at the University Birmingham from 1983 to 1986. Following this, Dan attended George Brown College from 1986 to 1988, studying Advertising & Marketing. Additionally, they also completed a Letter of Accomplishment in Business Admin and Banking from York University from 1987 to 1989.
