Pranesh Ram

Pranesh Ram has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of credit risk management and analytics. PRANESH currently holds the position of Director of Credit Card Strategy at Flexiti since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Cash4You Corp as the VP of Risk & Finance from September 2017 to July 2022, where they made significant contributions such as designing and implementing installment loan products, developing originations decision engines, and improving payday loan scoring models.

Before joining Cash4You Corp, Pranesh worked at Home Trust Company as the Director of Credit Card Risk Management and Analytics from May 2016 to September 2017. PRANESH also served as the Senior Manager of Business Banking Credit Analytics at CIBC from February 2014 to May 2016 and as the Senior Manager of Global Credit Risk Management at Scotiabank from December 2010 to January 2014.

Pranesh's earlier experience includes roles at Genworth Canada as a Senior Portfolio Risk Analyst from April 2008 to December 2010, at CIBC as a Portfolio Risk Analyst from January 2007 to April 2008, and at Allstream as a Senior Financial Analyst from March 2006 to January 2007. PRANESH started their career at CIBC as a Credit Risk Analyst from May 2003 to March 2006.

Throughout their career, Pranesh has demonstrated expertise in risk management, portfolio analytics, financial reporting, and business development. PRANESH has successfully implemented various risk management strategies and technologies, established strong relationships with key stakeholders, and contributed to business growth and development.

Pranesh Ram holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, which they completed in 2003. Later, in 2008, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Accounting and Business/Management at Wilfrid Laurier University. Pranesh also completed the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) program in the same year. Lastly, they studied Enterprise Risk Management at the University of Toronto until 2014.
