Earlier in their career, they worked as a VP of Engineering at Team 3482 Westmont Robotics from 2013 to 2017. Prathamesh contributed to the team's success in the Silicon Valley competition and played a role in training new members.
In 2016, Prathamesh had the opportunity to work as a Robotics Work Experience Intern at NVIDIA. During this internship, they worked on a humanoid programmed with Raspberry Pi and Jetson TX1 chips. Prathamesh also helped create the internship program at NVIDIA.
In 2014, they had a summer internship at Knightscope, where they gained insights into real-world robotics and learned about the workings of KnightScope's K5 autonomous data machine.

Prathamesh Prem Sankar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Robotics Technology/Technician from Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 2017 and 2020.
