James's career began at Datacard Group, where responsibilities included leading a team as Senior Principal Software Engineer, focusing on Java and UX/UI design from June 1998 to January 2010. James holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from North Dakota State University.
