Mickel Knight

Mickel Knight is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in sustainable packaging and materials development. Currently serving as a Sr Development Engineer at ISOFlex Packaging, Mickel focuses on innovative film product development for converting customers. Previous roles at Printpack included positions such as Sr Product Stewardship Engineer II and Sr Sustainable Packaging Research Engineer, where Mickel was instrumental in developing recyclable packaging platforms and conducting research on incorporating post-consumer recycled content. Earlier positions included roles at Cryovac and Viskase, where Mickel gained expertise in extrusion processes and project leadership. A background in mechanical systems was established during service in the US Navy as a Nuke Machinist. Mickel holds an MS in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Electrochemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
