Andrew Johnston

Andrew Johnston is a skilled machinist with extensive experience in computer-aided design and manufacturing processes. Currently serving as a Computer Aided Design Program & Setup Machinist at CQT Close Quarters Tactical since November 2020, Andrew is focused on updating CAD and CAM designs to enhance production efficiency. Prior to this role, Andrew was the lead machinist at Camdex Ammunition Reloading from September 2015 to November 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing design, fixturing, and the manufacturing of components for reloading machines, along with creating necessary documentation such as prints and inspection reports. Andrew also held the position of Mill Department Manager at Superior Design Concepts from August 2015 to November 2020. Educational qualifications include a CNC, manual, and programming certification from the Michigan Career and Technical Institute, obtained between March 2016 and September 2018.
