Liam Upfield

Liam Upfield is currently engaged with Flight Centre Travel Group as part of the Global Corporate Finance team, focusing on internal mergers and acquisitions and strategic development since July 2023. Prior to this role, Liam served at Deloitte from September 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included senior analysis in mergers and acquisitions transaction services, following an analyst position in the same area. Liam's career commenced at KPMG Australia, functioning as an accountant in enterprise audit and assurance from February 2020 to September 2021. Earlier experience includes an undergraduate role at Cordner Advisory from March to December 2019. Academically, Liam holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on accounting and finance from Bond University, attended from 2017 to 2019, and is a recipient of professional education from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, completed between 2020 and 2022. Formal education was completed at The Southport School from 2011 to 2016.
