Liz Mootoo

Liz Mootoo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the travel industry, currently serving as the Global Leisure Learning and Development Leader for Flight Centre Travel Group since July 2011. In this role, Liz leads a team of Instructional Designers, meticulously designing and implementing training programs while managing operational costs and budgets. Recognized with the People + Culture Outstanding Achievement Award in 2021, Liz has previously held various leadership positions within Flight Centre Canada, where responsibilities included facilitating national training programs, coaching new leaders, and driving business improvements. Liz's career began as a Training and Development Specialist, having built a strong foundation in the travel sector, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from The University of Western Australia.
