Romy Lawson

Romy Lawson (GAICD) currently serves as the Deputy Vice Chancellor Students at Flinders University since January 2022. Previously, Lawson held various leadership roles at Murdoch University, including Interim Vice Chancellor, Provost, and Deputy Vice Chancellor Education from August 2016 to October 2021. Further experience includes positions such as Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Learning & Teaching) at Edith Cowan University, Director of Learning, Teaching & Curriculum at the University of Wollongong, and Associate Dean T&L at James Cook University. Academic qualifications encompass a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), PGtHE, MPhil, and PhD in Psychology & Sports Science from Bangor University, as well as multiple executive education programs from prestigious institutions, including the University of Oxford and Harvard Law School.
