Andrew Younger

Andrew Younger has held several positions in the past two decades. Andrew began their career in 2001 as a Program Officer at the Michigan Community Service Commission, where they developed and conducted grantmaking processes for AmeriCorps funds. Andrew then joined SmithBucklin in 2007 as a Marketing Manager for IOUG, ICE, Site, NBMDA, NAFCD, DPHA, WA, and ODN, and later as Senior Coordinator for the Innovation Center. In 2013, they became the Race Director for the Crim Fitness Foundation. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Executive Director of the Flint & Genesee Group, formerly known as the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce. In this role, they work with businesses and organizations to grow and create new opportunities for business development and to increase visibility throughout the county.

Andrew Younger received their MBA in Marketing and Strategic Management from Loyola University Chicago in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan between 1995 and 1999.
