Jon Beadles

Jon Beadles has over 40 years of experience in the software engineering field. Jon began their career in 1978 as a Software Engineer at NCR, where they wrote and maintained Unix-based SCSI printer drivers in C and led the printer integration team. In 1991, they moved to AT&T/NCR, where they led the subsystem monitor team and developed and maintained subsystem monitor in embedded software. In 1993, they joined AT&T/Symbios Logic/LSI Logic as a Software Engineer, where they wrote and maintained host-based disk array failover drivers and array management software. In 1998, they were promoted to Software Engineer at LSI Logic and became the Host Software Team Leader, creating the concept of build stability tests and patenting a new design of third generation failover driver. In 2000, they moved to LSI Logic/NetApp as a Software Engineer and became the Data Integrity Team Leader and Chief analyst for data integrity events at customer sites. In 2016, they rejoined NetApp as a Software Engineer, and in 2017 they moved to Flint Hills Group as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2018, they returned to NetApp as a Drive Sustaining Engineer.

Jon Beadles earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University between 1974 and 1978.
