Kyle Beath

Kyle Beath is the Director of HR Diversity & Inclusion at FLINT INSTITUTE OF MUSIC. Kyle has also served as the Founder of Everyday IT and as a Human Resources Manager for the United States Air Force.

Kyle has always been driven to help others and make a difference in their community. In 2014, they joined the United States Air Force as a Human Resources Manager. In this role, they were responsible for assisting in the day-to-day human resources operations for service members and ensuring that the Air Force was compliant with personnel policies, directives, and procedures. Kyle also managed a 7-man team, overseeing administrative functions including duty status changes, leave programs, separations and retirements, extensions, casualty assistance, and official documents. In addition, Kyle counselled airmen on their career goals, advised on promotions, training programs, retention programs, benefits, and job specialties.

During their time with the Air Force, Kyle was also a member of the base Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Spark Cell team. In this role, they focused on helping airmen realize their maximum potential and driving their innovations into reality. Kyle also served as the head facilitator for a CPI Event (Air Force Application), which eliminated 150 man hours of work. In addition, they oversaw the streamlining of the Enlisted Force Distribution Panel, reducing the program from 1 month to 2 weeks.

Kyle Beath has a Master of Business Administration from American Military University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from American Military University, and certifications from the United States Air Force in Black Belt Certification (BB) and Green Belt Certification (GB), and from the Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional (PMP).

Their manager is Rodney Lontine, President & CEO. They are on a team with Davin Pierson Torre - VP Performing Arts Instruction & Director of Flint School of Performing Arts, Dakotah Myers - Education & Community Programs Coordinator, and Chris Everson - Director of Technical Production.
