Mateusz Bruzda

Mateusz Bruzda has a diverse work experience in the field of back-end development. Mateusz started their career at Cledar in 2019 as a Back-end Developer. At Cledar, they gained expertise in various technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, express, Nest.js, microservices, Docker, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS (SQS, S3, Transcribe, Translate, Lambda, CloudWatch), Elasticsearch, and Logstash. During their time at Cledar, Mateusz was involved in the development of a FOREX based trading platform and the implementation of an event-based microservice architecture using RabbitMQ and PostgreSQL. Mateusz also designed and developed complex quality assurance software, including media thumbnails and shorts extraction pipeline using AWS lambdas, SQS, FFmpeg, Redis, and MongoDB. Additionally, they worked on the implementation of media transcriptions and translations generation flow using AWS transcribe, translate, and SQS. Mateusz also implemented a CASL-like permissions model in a microservice architecture and simplified Elasticsearch's queries builder for dynamic visualizations creation. Furthermore, they were responsible for the development of a market prediction tool's API, designing and implementing prediction runners and results processing flow using RabbitMQ, MariaDB, and Elasticsearch. In 2022, Mateusz joined pwrteams as a Back-end Developer. Mateusz then moved to Flip in 2023 in the same role.

Mateusz Bruzda completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Applied Computer Science from AGH University of Krakow, a four-year program that they pursued from 2016 to 2020. Following this, they continued their education at the same institution to obtain a Master's degree in Technical Informatics, from 2020 to 2021.
