Shelby Jones

Shelby Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Shelby began as a Chief Operations Officer at Goodtime Girl Media in 2008, managing tour staff payment, recruiting and supporting domestic and international music tours, award shows, and TV appearances for artists. Shelby went on to work at D&L Manor Health and Human Services as an Executive Director, where they were responsible for developing and implementing human resources initiatives and programs to support the organization's goals and objectives in service to individuals with developmental disabilities. In 2011, they worked as a Business Operations Consultant at DMANI Entertainment Group, where they developed and implemented strategic plans to optimize business operations, analyzed financial data, and oversaw the company's budgeting process. Shelby then joined Flipcause in 2015, where they served in various roles, including Partnerships Manager, where they developed and executed partnership strategies to drive business growth and enhance brand reputation among small nonprofits. Shelby later became their Legal Operations Manager and then was promoted to Director of Legal Operations. In this role, they provided direct legal support to the CEO, CRO, and Chair of the Board of fintech company focused on the nonprofit sector. Shelby'sresponsibilities included maintaining the company's terms and conditions in accordance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy requirements, and collaborating with the Head of People to create new policy and procedures that consider company culture, long-term operational goals, as well as, legal requirements. Shelby'swork experience highlights their ability to develop and implement strategic plans, oversee financial performance, human resources initiatives, and partnerships, and providing direct legal support to a company's leadership team.

Shelby Jones holds a Doctor of Law - JD degree from Northwestern California University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Theatre/Theater from California State University-Sacramento. Additionally, they obtained certification as a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent from the Bureau of Real Estate in January 2002.
