Tariq Abdul Karim

Tariq Abdul Karim has over 20 years of work experience in software development and engineering. Tariq'smost recent role is Director of Engineering at Flipdish since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of Development at JINOBY from 2018 to 2023. Tariq also worked as a Senior Developer at the Royal Bank of Scotland from 2010 to 2022, where they focused on interest rate swap derivative products. Before that, they were a Strategic Quant Solution Developer at BGC Partners from 2008 to 2010, where they contributed to the OptiPublish project. Tariq's earlier experiences include working as a Software Developer at Valtech from 2004 to 2008 and at Capgemini from 2002 to 2004. Tariq started their career as a Software Engineer at IVS from 2001 to 2002 and at ABA - Applied Business Applications from 1998 to 2001. Tariq Abdul Karim completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master of Computer Science degree from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology from 1997 to 1998, specializing in Computer Science.
