Basavaraj Kumbar

Basavaraj Kumbar is an experienced analytics professional with a focus on data science and advanced analytics. Currently serving as Analytics Lead at Flipkart since May 2022, Basavaraj drives team alignment with business priorities and oversees project roadmaps and sprint planning. Prior to Flipkart, Basavaraj held roles at VMware from January 2018 to May 2022, first as Senior Data Scientist and earlier as Data Scientist, where responsibilities included creating product-specific propensity models and performing funnel analyses. Basavaraj's experience also encompasses a position as Senior Business Analyst at Affine Analytics, where dashboard creation and customer segmentation were key highlights, and as Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Mindtree, focusing on predictive analytics and data solutions. Basavaraj holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
