Melanie Edmond

Melanie Edmond is an accomplished educational leader and wellness advocate with extensive experience in various educational roles. Currently serving as a Wellness Ambassador at Be Well Practices since June 2021, Melanie focuses on teaching and supporting mindfulness practices to enhance personal and professional well-being. As a Leadership Development Specialist at The Flippen Group since July 2018, Melanie trains and coaches educators on effective student connection strategies. Previous roles include Principal and Instructional Specialist/Assistant Principal at Los Angeles Unified School District, where Melanie implemented school vision and instructional initiatives, cultivated a positive school environment, and customized teacher support. Earlier experience includes positions as an Educational Advisor and Consultant, contributing to professional development and support at multiple educational institutions. Melanie holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from California Lutheran University and has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Northridge.
