Gunnar Palm

Gunnar Palm has extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as Controller in the Research & Development department at FLIR Systems since December 2002, where responsibilities include budgeting, planning, forecasting, and follow-up. Gunnar has also held positions such as Acting Director of Intelligent Solutions and Embedded Applications, Manager of Order & Shipping, and Senior Project Manager for product development of infrared cameras, focusing on usability and durability. Previous roles include Thermal Design Engineer at Ericsson, where supervision of thermal investigations was key, and CAE Consultant at SWECO, emphasizing CFD calculations and project leadership. Earlier experience includes service engineering at Infrasonik, teaching at Kvarnskolan, and assembly work at IBM. Gunnar holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
