Richard Banks

Richard Banks is a seasoned professional in the field of technical art and education, currently serving as a Senior Technical Artist at Flix Interactive since September 2022. Prior to this role, Richard was a Lecturer in Games Technical Art at Staffordshire University from September 2020 to September 2022 and held various lecturer positions at Burnley College, including Game Development Lecturer, from January 2016 to September 2020. Richard's experience also includes a brief stint as a Lecturer in Games Design & Animation at Mid Cheshire College and freelance work as a 3D Visualiser. Earlier in their career, Richard was the Production Manager at Arena & Convention Centre Liverpool and served as an Audio Visual Specialist at The Wellcome Trust. Richard's foundational experience includes a role as a Broadcast Assistant at Stray FM. Richard holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Central Lancashire and two Bachelor's degrees in Sound Technology from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
