Eric J. Williams Jr.

Eric J. Williams Jr. is an experienced technology professional currently serving as Device Software Engineering Manager and Android Architect at Flock Safety since December 2020, where efforts are focused on developing technology to enhance community safety. As Director of Technology at Fun Weird Science since June 2014, Eric contributes to the mission of training students in science and robotics through the Georgia Science and Robotics Academy, Inc. Previous roles include leading Android development for the Mercedes Me connected car application at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, and serving as Sr. Software Engineer and Android Lead at Panasonic Innovation Center, where contributions included developing next-generation automotive infotainment systems in collaboration with Google. Eric co-founded and served as CTO of Monsieur, an intelligent cocktail vending machine, and has held positions at Qualcomm, Panasonic Automotive Systems, Siemens Industry USA, and Texas Instruments. Eric holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from Georgia Institute of Technology.
