Pedro MacEdo

Pedro Macedo is an experienced professional in control and automation management, currently serving as the E&I, Control & Automation Manager at Upfield since December 2018, focusing on electrical, pneumatic, control, and automation systems. Previously, Pedro worked as an Automation Engineer at Apineq from July 2017 to November 2018, where responsibilities included programming Siemens PLCs and transitioning older systems to current software and hardware. Earlier experience includes a six-month internship at Accenture Portugal in 2017, where Pedro developed applications in SAPUI5 and modified web pages, and a brief role as a thermal assistant at Águas de Carvalhelhos, SA. Pedro holds an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, completed between 2009 and 2013.
