Florence Crittenton
Bernard Brummell has extensive experience in management and behavioral health, currently serving as a Behavioral Health Technician at Florence Crittenton since February 2017. Prior roles include House Manager at Martins’ Achievement Place Non-Profit Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed client assessments and supervision of support staff, as well as positions such as City Dispatch Supervisor at Estes Express Lines and Warehouse Manager at Triamid Construction of Central California and Dispatch Services. Bernard's early career featured management roles at Hertz, Consolidated Freightways, and Overnite Transportation, focused on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Bernard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Afro-American Studies and a minor in Sociology from Indiana University Bloomington, completed between 1979 and 1983.

Founded in 1986, Florence Crittenton continues to hold true to its mission of providing residential, education and community-based programs to nearly 1,000 girls and young women each year. The agency offers a comprehensive continuum of care designed to help at-risk girls from 10 to 21 overcome issues of abuse, neglect, teen pregnancy, teen parenting, and behavioral and/or mental health problems.
