Luca Pedocchi

Luca Pedocchi is an experienced professional with a diverse background in information technology and academia. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at FUA - Florence University of the Arts since October 2011, responsibilities include managing network services, hardware maintenance, server virtualization, and GDPR compliance, along with staff training and end-user support. As a Full Professor, Luca teaches various subjects such as Historical Perspective of Chemistry and Biomedical Ethics. Further expertise includes founding CA.RE. FOR. Engineering, where project management focuses on biofuels sustainability assessment, and past contributions as a professor at Unicollege SSML analyzing cybercrime. With extensive IT experience dating back to 1998 and a solid educational foundation featuring a PhD in Chemistry and a postdoc in Computational Chemistry, Luca Pedocchi combines technical and academic proficiency to excel in multiple domains.
