Kathryn Whitehurst

Kathryn Whitehurst is an experienced professional in public administration and external affairs, currently serving as the Deputy Director at the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities since February 2023. Previously, Kathryn held multiple leadership roles at the Florida Department of Children and Families, including Staff Director and Director of Partnerships and External Affairs. With a background in business operations and external relations at The Southern Group-Florida, Kathryn's earlier positions include managerial and administrative roles at the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and the American Enterprise Institute. Kathryn began a career in politics as an intern at the U.S. House of Representatives while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida.
