James Capp

James Capp has a strong background in higher education administration. James served as the Associate Vice President for Strategic Planning & Student Success at Florida Atlantic University, where they oversaw operations in various departments and led initiatives to improve student success. Prior to this role, they were the Assistant Provost for Academic Operations and Planning, where they developed and implemented academic initiatives and managed office operations. James also held positions as the Coordinator in the Office of the Provost and the Student Union Coordinator in the Division of Student Affairs. Before joining Florida Atlantic University, they worked as an Editorial Assistant at Composition Forum. Throughout their career, James Capp demonstrated their expertise in strategic planning, student success, and academic operations.

James Capp has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Florida Atlantic University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. James then pursued a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from the same university, completing it from 2010 to 2012. James continued their education at Florida Atlantic University, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Public Administration from 2014 to 2019. James also holds a certification in Data Science for Public Policy, which was obtained from Florida International University in 2023.
