Sid Kerkar

Sid Kerkar is an experienced professional in the field of immuno-oncology and pathology, currently serving as Vice President of Research and Development at EXUMA Biotechnology since October 2020. In addition, Sid holds an affiliate appointment at Florida Atlantic University and acts as a Review Editor for T cell biology at Frontiers in Immunology. Previous roles include Associate Vice President at Eli Lilly and Company, Distinguished Research Fellow and Head of Discovery Biomarkers at Boehringer Ingelheim, and Associate Director of Translational Medicine & Pathology at Bristol Myers Squibb. Sid's training includes a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic and an Anatomic Pathology residency at the National Cancer Institute. Sid earned a Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Economics from Kalamazoo College, complemented by significant post-doctoral research experience at the National Institutes of Health and contributions to the field via international presentations and publications.
