Monica Sanford, DNP, AG-ACNP, currently serves as the Cardiovascular Team Member Representative for the Florida Chapter of the American College of Cardiology since April 2020 and has been appointed to the Advocacy Committee for a two-year term. Additionally, Monica is a non-voting member of the Pediatric Cardiology Technical Advisory Panel at the Agency for Healthcare Administration and has held the position of Adjunct Faculty at the University of West Florida since January 2015, teaching courses in Advanced Health Assessment and Health Policy for the Nurse Practitioner Program. Monica's clinical experience includes working as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with Sacred Heart Health System from January 2017 to January 2023. Monica holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, along with a Master's degree in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University, a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University.
