Juan Martinez

Juan Martinez is an experienced pastoral professional currently serving as Associate Pastor at the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists since March 2018. Previously, Juan held the position of Student Dean at Andrews University and served as Youth and Young Adult Pastor for the Georgia-Cumberland Conference from September 2017 to April 2018. Prior roles include Chaplain at Florida Hospital from January 2015 to March 2017 and Young Adult Ministry Coordinator at Florida Hospital Church. Additionally, Juan was Head Coach at CrossFit Berrien from 2013 to December 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Andrews University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theology from Southern Adventist University.

Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists® is an unincorporated, nonprofit organization which serves as the administrative body for its sisterhood of churches with emphasis on evangelism, nurturing constituents, and operating a system of schools. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream, protestant, Bible-believing denomination with more than 17 million believers worldwide. The Florida Conference regional corporate headquarters provides resources to its members, church congregations, and the general public. The territory of Florida Conference, organized in 1893, includes the entire state except Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, and Washington counties which belong to Gulf States Conference. As of March 2017, more than 64,000 Adventists are Florida Conference members at 208 churches, 57 companies, and least 32 mission groups.
