Yasmin Then has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and administration. Yasmin started their career at Adventist Health System as an Executive Assistant, where they handled administrative duties and assisted in coordinating corporate events. After that, they joined the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, starting as a Human Resources Assistant. In this role, they were responsible for tasks such as creating job descriptions, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining HR systems. Yasmin then advanced to the position of HR Generalist, where they processed workforce transactions and assisted in recruitment. Later, they served as the Interim HR Director, providing overall HR administration to the organization and serving as a consultant on personnel issues. Currently, Yasmin holds the position of Director of Human Resources and Talent Management at the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, overseeing the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
Yasmin Then completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Human Resources Management and Services from Webster University, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Prior to their MBA, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Human Resources Management and Services from the same university, studying from 2008 to 2010. In 2016, Yasmin Then obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM.

Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists® is an unincorporated, nonprofit organization which serves as the administrative body for its sisterhood of churches with emphasis on evangelism, nurturing constituents, and operating a system of schools. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream, protestant, Bible-believing denomination with more than 17 million believers worldwide. The Florida Conference regional corporate headquarters provides resources to its members, church congregations, and the general public. The territory of Florida Conference, organized in 1893, includes the entire state except Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, and Washington counties which belong to Gulf States Conference. As of March 2017, more than 64,000 Adventists are Florida Conference members at 208 churches, 57 companies, and least 32 mission groups.
