Brian Rice

Brian Rice has over 20 years of experience in tax and financial consulting. Brian served as the Director of Taxation at Florida Crystals Corporation and American Sugar Holdings, where they managed a team of tax professionals and provided training on compliance and provision work. Prior to that, they were the Director of Taxation at Southern Coal Corp, where they oversaw tax communications and filings for a group of entities operating in multiple states. Brian also worked as a Senior Manager at Levyti Consulting, where they managed tax returns and filings for a retail utility company. Additionally, Brian served as a Manager at McGladrey, specializing in FAS109 and FIN48 issues. Brian began their career at Ernst & Young, LLP, where they managed global outsourcing of clients' tax functions and provided tax planning strategies. Brian has expertise in various areas of tax, including income tax, sales tax, and franchise tax.

Brian Rice completed their education in a chronological order. In 1990, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech, where they studied until 1994. Continuing their education, from 1994 to 1995, they pursued a Masters of Science degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech. Later, in 1999, Brian Rice obtained their MBA in International Business from the University of Maryland. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from Virginia in October 1999.
