Florentino Falcon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the sugar industry, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Biopolymers Consulting since May 2012. Florentino has been a Shift Supervisor at Osceola Farms Co. and Okeelanta Corp. since September 2002, leading raw sugar production and overseeing recovery processes. Prior to this role, Florentino managed production processes at Central Motzorongo and served as Plant Manager at Ingenio La Joya, where process improvements were implemented to enhance sugar quality. Florentino’s background also includes consulting and managerial positions with the Cuban Sugar Ministry, focusing on operations and efficiency in sugar mills, and technical management with The Machado Cooperative Group. Educational qualifications include a degree in Chemical Engineering from the High Polytechnic Institute and numerous postgraduate certificates related to sugar industry techniques and technologies.
