John Gaughan

John Gaughan has extensive experience in the energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Production Shift Supervisor at Vermilion Energy since November 2018, Gaughan has also held the position of Operations Technician within the same company. Prior to this, Gaughan worked at Shell in various roles from January 2013 to November 2018, including Operations Technician and Offshore Pipeline Installation, and previously as a Reinstatement Engineer at Northern Gas Networks and a Student Engineer at JJ Rhattigan. Since 2008, Gaughan has been a Volunteer Crew Member for the Ballyglass Lifeboat with RNLI. Gaughan holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Construction Management from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and possesses multiple qualifications, including an Advanced Powerboat Skippers Certificate and an SVQ Level 3 in Hydrocarbons.
