Shiva L. Ahrens

Shiva L. Ahrens is a highly qualified Principal Research Scientist at Florida Crystals, with experience spanning multiple roles in environmental science. Ahrens has served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Ivy Tech Community College since January 2016 and has held positions as an Environmental Scientist with EFI Global and as an Environmental Scientist Intern with Mundell & Associates, Inc. Previous research experience includes work as a Research Assistant in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department at IUPUI, specializing in investigating soil management effects on microbial communities, as well as conducting laboratory experiments and data analysis. Ahrens has also taught Environmental Geology lab courses and contributed to significant research projects at McGill University and other institutions. Ahrens holds a Ph.D. in Soil Biogeochemistry from Indiana University Indianapolis, a Master of Science from Tarbiat Modares University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tehran.
